I fell in love with this Christmas Advent Calendar wall hanging at my LQS. I've finished 3 of these ... one for myself and two for my son's families. I have another to do for my daughter when her boys get older. The little figures are attached to felt with wonder under then cut out. I hand quilted the background. Mine will be displayed as a nativity scene, but I hope my grandchildren will have fun adding a figure each day.

I just finished the quilt for my youngest grandson who will be a year old on Christmas day. I'm working on another (queen size) for his 3 year old brother which will be finished by Christmas. They share a room, so thought it'd be neat to have matching quilts. My daughter picked the colors and I designed the quilt.

Beautiful projects. I love to talk to my grandchildren about the real meaning of Christmas.
