    My Christms Quilt

    This one I made for myself The quilting design is from Leah Day: bare branches. I never did this design before and it takes a lot of travel stitching, good practice! Pitty it's not that visible in the pictures.
    Last picture is the back as you all would have guessed

    It means the way you get from one place to another without stopping....kind of like stitching in the ditch to move across a block. Look up Leah Day and she can describe it better.

    Thank you all for your lovely comments!

    Travel stitching is when you have to stitch over previous stitched lines. With this design I had to go back all the time to make the branches.
