Yes, I made the design wall. I usually do large quilts so I wanted it to be as wide as the space would allow and yes, it is hanging from a curtain rod. It is flannel backed vinyl. There is a dowel rod in the bottom to keep it taut. The blocks in the pictures are left-overs from a new bedroom quilt.

I usually straighten up, vaccuum and dust a little after each major project, but I don't tend to be a 'detailed' duster. However, I cleaned each piece of furniture, front, back, top and bottom as it came back into the room. It won't be quite this truly clean again until we finally get around to repainting the walls which need it badly.

What a great room! Now what is your next project, so you can "mess" things up??

Very Neat! Looks like a comfortable room to work in, and I like your design wall.

I just love getting to see other folks' sewing rooms. It's always interesting - especially storage and furniture placement. This room looks so cozy. I love the chair. there's nothing like a fresh, new sewing spot to inspire us!
