I am speechless or printless-whichever is the correct term for this site. I love it we used to have evergreens with crooked tops. It is breathtaking

I am getting speedhless too with all the great replies I've had today on this quilt. Yoiu are all so great to let me know. I still have the pattern. I had the big pieces copied and laminated so I wouldn't lose them or screw them up just in case I did one in the future. Those leaves were supposed to be Aspen leaves but they were so small and looked so silly that I changed that in a hurry. :D

You can't see it in the picture but there is an outline of an elk stiched in behide the deer. Linda did such a great job qilting and decided I needed an elk.

Hope you all have a great week!

HiConnie, Well I hope you had some decent weather over there in Grimsby when you visited because its raining cats and dogs over there now. Glad you had such a nice time with your friends though, there is such a lot to see, different culture and way of life heh :D See any quilting shops :D :D

Thansk so much for all the good replies on my quilt.

I did go to two shops. One in Lincoln where we left my friends machine for some work and the best one was in Gimsby. Some beautiful fabrics there. I guess they consider them Pakistani fabrics. They are pretty flashy but I did love them. He had a Janome Serger in the window. Someone bought it and decided she wanted something else so brought it back with the original thread still in it. I bought it for 99 pounds and packed it up good in my suitcase and brought it home. Now I'm waiting on a dropper cord I ordered so I can plug it in to 110V. Don't want to blow myself up.

I loved all the trees and the fields of rape seed. I bouoght some honey mixed with rape seed oil that is good for asthma but put it in my carry one and customs got a great jar of it. Hope my friend send me a jar to try.
The houses with the vines and purple flowers hanging on them were great. I can't remember the names of that right now (too early) but they are so pretty. Wish I'd gotten pics of some of those houses.

Have a great night. Guess it's night where you are.
