Take a look at this near-perfect block. The colors coordinate, the corners meet almost perfectly (certainly good enough for me, anyway), and all the squares come out to the right size.

The problem? The B&W is actually supposed to be on the other side of the purple marble, and the arms of the H are supposed to be purple.

Didn't notice until it was time to join it to another block. :: groan! :: So now I get to completely take the block apart and do it over. Drat. :?

Not going to worry about it until tomorrow morning. Till then, going to pretend this pretty little block is exactly what it's supposed to be.

Isn't it nice?

I agree it's time to stop. It's a pretty block tho.

Beautiful fabrics! I can't sew this late. That's why I'm here and I'm fading here too lol :D

I get clues like that, too. It is a way of being told: Stop, walk away, and come at it again tomorrow!

It really is nice...and worth 'unsewing'! One of the first things I learned about sewing is that if you never intend to rip, then just don't sew! Needless to say, I'm pretty good at the 'unsewing' thingy.

That's when I know I've been working to long. Everything starts going wrong. And then I just leave most of it. Come back tomorrow. Hopefully I'll feel like ripping it out, but a lot of times it stays that way. Just depends on who it's for. hehehe and if I want to show my mistakes in a picture.
