The local county guild (Saline County Quilt Guild) won't let me join because I'm a man, but I am a member of the state guild and we do have another man in that guild and his work is excellent. He's a teacher and taught a quilting class to high school students for 30 years. I'm a member of another guild in the next county over as well, and we have a couple of men in that one, too. Once of them, Dave, is a member here on the QB, too.
It is such a loss for the quilt guild that won't let you join because you are a man. You would bring a lot to offer to any guild.

I'm fusing the shapes and then doing a machine blanket stitch. But I'm not doing the BOM that some places are doing, I'm just doing it on my own, picking my own fabrics.

Eddie, I have been a William Morris fan for years and I have Michele Hill's book for so long and all the fabric to do a quilt and the wall hanging from the book.
A friend of mine has made a beautiful wall hanging using her favourit blocks it is beautiful. I will be watching this space for more updates on your progress, and one day when I have finished my current project.

Beautiful blocks. I also have the book but haven't started anything yet. Don't forget to show the whole quilt when finished. I know it will be a show stopper.
