Wow!! I love applique but doubt I'd have the patience to tackle this. You must love what you do. Well done. Hope you put up pics when its done.

I am trying to decide, are you a "masocist" or just a "perfectionist"? I can't imagine doing all that precision cutting, not to mention all the work to come. How are you going to applique those shapes? Please show your progress as you go. It is bound to be primo when done.
Duh, I see you have already said you are gong to machine blanket stitch the shapes down. Can't wait to see.
