This is my customers hot pink flamingos in ultrasuede. I hope you can see the sun, clouds and water that I quilted in the white. She found the pattern and went to a second hand clothing store for the ultrasuede. She bought a suit in hot pink ultrasuede for $4 and then she cut it up to make the flamingos.
Thank you for taking a look.

The pink fabric is really pretty for a quilt but I can't imagine a suit made out of it.

Beautiful workmanship on both your parts. Love the flamingos. They remind me of the one and only time I was in Calif. We went to Sea World and a flock of flamingos was the greeters.

Neat design, I like the reflections. The pink ultrasuede looks better on flamingos than in a suit! Your quilting really adds to the picture. Nice!

That is beautiful. Who would have thought you could take an ugly pink suit and make such a beautiful quilt out of it. You quilting is great.

Very, very smart and creative idea.

Very, very clever, especially since real ultra suede is somewhere about 50 dollars a yard last time I had enough nerve to look at it.

How original. Love the reflections of the legs in the water. A work of art. Love the quilting too.
