This was a late Christmas present. I'd posted the top as one of three before Christmas, but didn't finish it until yesterday. It's now safely on his nursing home bed. He seems to like it, but he has dementia, so it's hard to tell. It's only my second quilt, and my meandering wasn't fantastic, but I'm learning.

Your quilting is great. So is the quilt! I'm sure somewhere in your Dad's mind he's pleased with it.

Even with dementia, he can feel the quilt around him and know that he's loved. I made one for my MIL for Christmas and people stop to talk to her when they see it on her lap. It's a good conversation starter and also says "someone loves me."

It's beautiful, and even if he doesn't know it's there, it will help you to see it on his bed.
