I did it.. I made a mini bow tuck for dear daughter.. I didn't measure the ties but she loves it just the same.. she picked out her fabrics, but asked for a really bright color for the inside.. I didn't like the color that was chosen but it is bright!

She loves it and has already moved all her purse contents into it!

That is sooo CUTE! I like the inside fabric also, nice and cheery! I am ordering my pattern today for both the mini and regular size bow tucks!

I know this is a STUPID question after all this time, but what makes the bow tuck design so different from other sewn bags? I am trying to decide if I want to order the pattern or use one of my present bags and add the ties. Any comment will be appreciated.

BTW, your bag is beautiful. I do like the fabric choices, but like you I would probably not have chosed the interior color, but it is happy, and your daughter is happy. That is the most important!

Love the bag in general and the colors especially.

If the bag pattern is similar there is no problem adding just the ties I would go with that Idea!
