Smile My Daughters Quilt, My First Quilt

This is my first quilt and I am self taught. I just bought the pattern from Studio Block and followed the directions. I hope my daughter appreciates the love and hard work that went into making her this quilt for Christmas. I had it quillted by Donna Gudat. I hope to someday own a longarm so I can do the whole thing. Thanks for looking!!!Name: 100_2340.JPG

Wow, great job on the quilt, looks as though you have been quilting for years, you did a fantastic job!!
Why wait to get a longarm, there are so many tutorials around that show you how you can quilt, even large quilts, on your own domestic sewing machine. Give it a try, it is a lot of fun and so satifying that you did it all yourself.

    Really Cute.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, mountian dew in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming. Yea haw what a ride! Suzie Sew
