Oh! This quilt is lovely! I really like the fabric and red makes the rest just pop! I plan to teach my 8-year old granddaughter to quilt. Well, we will have to start with sewing first. I hope I can do her proud and as well as you did. Love it!

I got the block done now just for the boarders and to quilt and bind it. she has helped with the whole project. well as much as her 2 1/2 y/o attention span could handle. she is really excited about it. all but the backing fabric was FQ's that she picked out and she like the backing and it was on sale so I got a yard of it for her.
OMG!OMG!OMG! Not only is it beautiful, but I have been looking for that "sky" fabric for FOUR years!!!! Do you have the selvedge information on it????PLEASE!!!!!
Your daughter picked such a gorgeous combination and the choice of red with it shows her creativity! Look how it goes....wow!!! Great job all around. (If you can, please respond about the fabric either way. I cannot believe how long I have been searching and .....poof! voila! there it is! ) Thank you!

You did a wonderful job working with the fabrics she chose. You could have opted for a simple one, but this one is so beatiful for her!
