Oh, where to start? The color is amazing. The trapunto design is elegant. The pebbling probably took as long as making half the quilt. The combo of hand quilting and machine quilting is genius. And I adore your embroidered flower/label. I'm definitely stealing that idea. Please tell me you have that somewhere it can be admired every single day. And please tell me you've entered it in several shows!
    Congratulations on an amazing job!
Adding on to ask you to enter it in the Road 2 California show. I want to see this in person!

Oh my, thank you for the compliments! I haven't entered it in any shows. I've never shown a quilt before and truthfully don't even know where to start looking for show applications!

Love, love, love your Dear Jane! The chocolate brown is gorgeous and the border is perfectly complements the quilt. Enter it into shows if you have a chance...it's so beautiful, I'm sure other quilters will also appreciate seeing it.

I am also making Dear Jane. Just up to the triangles for the border. Curious - how much of the chocolate fabric did you need for the top, triangle borders and binding? Thanks.

I am utterly flabbergasted! And not just with the piecing you did, and the colors you chose, but also by the quilting you accomplished on your regular machine! Beautiful!

Thank you all....you know you all are giving me the "big head"! LOL....DH will knock it back down to size quickly though..so no worries.

There have been some questions about the background. Here is the info for you....I think I bought 10 or 11 yrds. of the brown. It is a Moda from the Wildflower Seranade I collection. Here is a closer view of the background. I didn't use this brown as the background for any of the blocks, just the sashing, kite background, scallops (which are deeper than on the pattern) and the binding.
