your quilt is just stunning. what talent....
I soooo wanted to do this along with you all, but just thought of all the work, and computer expense....
What is 'trapunto'? and you said you used EQ. sorry to be so dense, but i think that is what scared me off it. computer stuff. can you just print the patterns off somehow, or do you have to spend the couple hundred dollars for EQ?

Thank you all again...I really appreciate all your kind comments.
sewNso...the Dear Jane software is a "stand alone"...all that means is that you don't have to buy any other software to make it work. It allows you to print off the patterns in which ever manner you prefer so as to make it easier for you to make the quilt. So...NO..you do NOT have to buy EQ.
Trapunto is a method of quilting where part of the quilting design is stuffed with an extra layer of batting. I did mine by machine and did a Tutorial for the Board. You can find it in the Tutorials section or...click on my name and then look at my Topics list...its called Machine Trapunto or something like that.
Have fun making yours..it will be beautiful too!
