This is the fabric (16 yeards of Moda shaded mottled fabric) and the pattern is on the cover of American Patchwork and Quilting for June 2007. It's called Modern Mix. My hope is to have it done by a year from Christmas. I think it will be "the quilt" of my life. The helper is Lucy, who either wants in or out the whole time I am trying to sew

That is gorgeous fabric and lots of it. But, I must admit, your helper is prettier than all that fabric.

Beautiful fabric. I love Lucy. I used to have a dog named Lucy, she was a white fuzzy mutt. I loved her so much. I can't wait :D to see this quilt

Can't wait to see what you are going to do with all that lovely yummy fabric. Know what you mean about the helper though, I have two helpers only mine are of the feline variety :)

I looked up the cover of the magazine you mentioned. What a nice pattern! It looks like a box of jewels! That will really brighten up the room!

Gorgeous colors!
That's going to be one gorgeous quilt.
Now I need to go see if I can find the cover of that mag online.

I'm thinking Lucy likes the colors too. They will go REALLY nice with her
color. :)

I googled that magazine cover... pretty quilt. Great fabric choices! And with all that yardage you can make several!
