Awesome - both the quilt and the donation.

I looked at the heading and thought, dresden bicycle???? What could that be???? And then, Wow!! That's really cute. I'm sure your donation will be so appreciated. What an honor to him.

Jbenning there isn't a pattern available. The person on Pinterest says she posted it for inspiration and wants everyone to use their own imagination to make one. I drew it out on freezer paper and fused it then machine appliquéd it. I think I saved it. If I still have it I could probably send it to you. She could make a fortune selling patterns as there are a lot of people looking for a pattern.

The original artist who created this quilt is Sally Manke. This is her Etsy store link: https://www.etsy.com/shop/SallyManke...er_title_items

The quilt must have been sold as it is no longer on her Etsy site.

You can see the original quilt here:

This is her Pinterest page. She's made some really beautiful things!

What a nice thing to do. I bet it was greatly appreciated. You even have his name on it. So cool!

A sweet quilt and sweet gesture in memory of your friend. He will be well remembered with this pretty quilt on the wall.
