Default My Early 56th Anniversary Quilt

My husband said I made quilts for others but had not made one for him and myself . So I decided I would try to make a quilt that would fit our bed. This was a challenge for me as I had not ever tried to make one this big lol. It is 114" X 100". Well this is how it turned out. My husband was very pleased with it so now I think I will try some pillow shams to match. I machine embroideries the plain squares and machined stitched the star blocks. Then hand quilted it. Kinda a proud of myself. 😊

Your quilt is gorgeous. I do love teal and the embroidery sets off the squares of solid fabric perfectly. Job well done.

Oh my goodness, that is a gorgeous quilt! I love everything about it from the color, the embroidery, the layout and, of course, your beautiful hand stitching! Congratulations - for 56 years and this wonderful quilt!
