    this is the first time I've posted pics, I hope it works. I'm entering these in the show.....hope you like them. Chickens are some of my favorites things to applique

    I love the chickens! And how clever to use "chicken-wire" background fabric! I'm really partial to quilts with yellow fabric.

    Chicks are adoreable and state quilt is really neat. Almost like a jar quilt.

    Love the chicken one! It is so cute. and the Mississippi one reminds me of the rhyme I learned as a kid to jump rope with! It is a great quilt too! Hope you win ribbons!!

    Regina, Both of your quilts are too cute. You know if the QuiltingBoard quilters were the judges, you'd blow the quilt show out of the water. I do love the chicken quilt, but I'm a native Mississippian, so, of course, I'm partial to the Mississippi state quilt. But did you have to put Miss State fabric on it??? That alone, might knock you down to a red ribbon in the show.

    These are so very cute! I like the Mississippi state one. That is a super idea. It should be hung in the state goverment offices, and a central location at the fair. Wishing you the best of luck!

    thanks you ladies for the kind words. the show is in Hattiesburg MS on Oct 8-10 at the Lake Terrace Convention Center on hwy 49, right at the intersection of hwys 49 & 59
    there are over 400 quilts entered.

    My Mississippi quilt does have MS State, USM and Ole Miss fabric in it you just didn't see it. I spent 6 months collecting fabrics for this and the one that gave me the most trouble fining was the USM fabric, for those of you not from Mississippi, this university is 5 miles from my house.
