Thought you might enjoy seeing my family quilt. My Mom with help from my Grandma made it back in the late 1930's, it's completely hand sewn and quilted. They sent a white block to each of my Grandma and Granddad's sistesr and sis-in-laws and cousins and each person wrote their name on the block, Mom embroidered them and it's one of my most prized possessions. Everyone has since passed except one cousin and one aunt. It's been hanging on my bedroom wall for the past year, ever since I got it out of Mom's cedar chest and I got it down today for a Red Hat's quilt show that we're having tonight.

I love that pattern for a friendship quilt. Every once in a while our church ladies will make a quilt for a new pastor and wife. Each lady is responsible for the block from their family. Well, you should see some of these blocks. Some people should stick to canning. This would be great ansd then have everyone sign in with a Pigma pen or embroidery. Do you have the pattern or is in on here somewhere?
