Besides being a quilter, now you are a designer as well! Well done on your 'one of a kind' creation

This is one stunning quilt. You mastered your whole circles beautifully. I have made 6 DWR quilts and I so understand the frustration with the arches. The can still get to me when I start a new quilt. I love the applique to me you are a master. This is going to be the gift that will always be treasured.

You did a fantastic job!! Thank you for sharing your creative process in making this terrific quilt! Great design! Love how you combined the different patterns and the applique.

Did you use paper piecing or templates to make your stars? What size are your blocks?

Thank you to everyone for your kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures. The stars are paper pieced and the blocks are 14" finished with 2" sashing. The applique squares are from a book by Susan McKelvey called Fancy Feathered Friends for Quilters. I have decided I really like to applique even though it is time consuming, I think the end product is so worth it. I'm already looking for my next applique project.
