wow, nice!
Welcome to the Quilting Board!
oh hoping it runs like deer for you.....
nothing like getting a deal..................
Looks like a 99 to me...definately not a model 15-*.
Great buy for a buck!! Look at that pretty burled wood in that cabinet...you're going to love it!
The face plate on a 99 is flat, on a 66 its rounder like in the picture that Tlstick showed us.Originally Posted by Charlee

What a great find for a $1.00. Happy for you.
Thanks! Will make a note of that!Originally Posted by purplefiend

It's most definitely a 66... Same as the one in my avatar, only mine is a little older and a treadle. Clean it up and use it! They were the best machines! If I'm not mistaken, they were the longest-produced model Singer ever made.
Congratulations! I've never been at an auction where the starting bid for something like that was just a dollar!
Talk about a well spent dollar! Congrats.
Can't go wrong for $1.
Great deal!
What a wonderful deal. You beat me by 5 dollars. I got a 301A at an auction for $6.00. It had not even had a spool of thread sewn thru it. I had a cabinet waiting at home for mine. You will love it.
Why can't I come across deals like that? You go girl!
I would love one of those machines as they remind me of the NEW handi quilter sit down combo/setup.
The harp is large, the stitch divine...the table big...no need to buy a "new" machine.
