I have such respect for anyone who hand quilts
and hope that one of these days I learn how as well!

That's a fantastic mini - I've never made one before. I'm sure it will be treasured in Japan, and will spread good vibes for international relations!! Good work.

I'm so glad you said that, I was afraid it might be too "americana"!

When I first started quilting, I had my frame up in our store and all the ladies in the neighborhood came and "critiqued" my stitches and I would be sick on my stomach when I saw them coming. :lol: :lol: they weren't afraid to gently tell me if I needed to take some stitches out. I have a hard time if I am tense, not getting them too small , which is a terrible thing for a hand quilter to do. they are supposed to be the same size, and that is hard to do sometimes! :wink:
