I think it is just great. What a beautiful job you did. I am "thinking" about a dresden plate with a folded piece between the sections. Make it look like a sunflower. I think I have seen the pattern somewhere, just need to get it out.I have a lot of handwork lined up for hospital time.

Beautiful!! I truly admire those that hand quilt or applique.
I don't think I will ever be able to do it (arthritis in my neck is too bad). But I love to see it, yours is beautiful.
