This is a quilt I made for a charity donation for my quilt guild. I picked up a "kit" from guild and made the quilt. I did take out one of their fabs and replace it with one of my own. This is my first attempt at free-hand stippling on a "real" quilt. Not great, but "ok" I think I need more practice!!!

I'd say you did a great job with the stippling. I'm just starting to practice freehand and stippling is harder than it looks.

I'm sorry, it is machine quilting. I just had never done it before, Well, maybe once with one of those paper patterns you pin on first. I turned it into our guild today for give away.

You done good...just do what I do...I keep chanting "big head...little neck" the whole time. I'm glad nobody but my DH can hear me...he already knows I'm crazy!

I like your little hearts decorative stitching. I'm going to try to start incorporating more types of stitching into my quilts!
