Don't let the doggy on the bed if it has a habit of diggin before it lays down.My brother has a quilt like yours an I had to replace some of the
silk on it cause the doggy's tore it apart with the feet.ok
There very pretty quilts . 8)

I can't say enough about that book...The Joy of Quilting...I learned exactly where to place the pins and the way she details putting the pieces together, it really was pretty easy! Once I got the first point done, I knew I could do it. What have you got to lose? It's 2" strips...you guys must have that kind of leftovers sitting around!
Thank you all for the kind words! I am into my third quilt now and learning the wonders of water soluable webbing and fusible interfacing to make my own appliques! Much easier than some of the paper methods, since alot of my fabrics are so delicate.
Can't wait to post photos!

That is one stunning quilt. Beautifully put together....I love the use of fabric, very adventurous. Can't wait to see more of your creations.
