ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS....can't wait to do mine..but, it's in line for all the other stuff that "has to" be done first

Nice job! You did a beautiful job...I don't think I'd have the patience to do it by hand as you did.

Oh, just dig in and do it! It's so much easier than it looks and it's so much fun! I think they're easier than other types of quilts.

Thank you! It's my own design based on the Block Bender technique by Margaret Miller. You can see more of it here http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-106755-1.htm

Basically you draw a grid of columns and rows of differing widths then create half square or rectangle triangles, which can be oriented in any direction, then get busy with the colouring pencils til you're happy. You then make plastic templates for each piece and cut each individually. The book is out of print but you can get used ones through Amazon. It's time consuming but really fun and I've got several more in the design stage. Sorry for the hijack. :-D
