I started this 3 years ago. Had to put it aside for awhile and am trying to finish it for my sister's baby born last January. Only thing that hasn't been hand stitched so far is the satin stitching on the kitties faces.

almost done quilting, just the border yet...then the binding

All stitch in the ditch except for butterflies and hearts on border.

That is too cute! I wanna copy it. You have done a fantastic job. I'd love this even if I didn't love kitties! (which I do)

Barb, the kitties acatually are made out of fleece. I didn't care for working with the fleece at all. It was hard to keep the fuzz from tangleing around my thread as I was stitching. Getting the Satin stitching on the faces was a real pain.

I'm trying to figure out a pattern to make a "cat" quilt for a friend of mine. I think I found what I'm going to do.
    You have inspired me!! :)

Great pattern and the fuzzy faces are sure to bring sweet smiles and lots of touches from the baby.
