    My first batik quilt

I enjoyed making this quilt very much. It actually went very quickly and I am going to make the same design for a scrappy in the future.

The batiks are from Connecting Threads. Two jelly rolls (24 strips each) and 3 charm packs - cut into 2.5 inch squares (24 fabrics each) plus black for the borders. I still have to add the third border of black. What do you think?

It is beautiful. I love Batiks. I have many of Connecting Threads batik colors and they are beautiful and great quality.

    Char,
love the batik quilt. The design is great. Tell your husband that "marshall"
lost to "ohio univ. (athens)" 24-27 in the last play of regular time. Heart breaker.

I bet a scrappy in this pattern will be great.
