Default My first blocks This is the Double Hour glass.

Well I'm sewing again after a few problems here and there. You know the saying you learn by your mistakes well thats me.
Any way I'm very proud of what I have done so far and have a bit more to do I would say a lot more to do. lol lol lol I figured out so many of my own questions I was amazed at my self. I know there are some little bits not matching but it is my first and for my bedroom. Please let me know what you think?

I think they are great. Don't you feel wonderful figuring things out yourself?! Way to go.

Everyone has to start somewhere, when we make mistakes, it is the best way to learn, and that only means you will get better, and better. Yours looks wonderful, just keep on trying, and never give up.

I think you have done a wonderful job. Thinking things through and figuring things out on my own is one of the things I love most about quilting however we are always welcome to come to the board for help.

I really like the pattern you are using, and your fabrics are lovely.Making your first quilt is quite an achievement and you have every right to be proud of yourself. Your best nights sleep, will be the first one you spend nestled under a quilt you made yourself! Keep going and please post more pics!!
