I have never seen a round quilt before. What a great idea. Yours came out beautifully.

Beautiful pattern. Please rate how difficult it was to do, especially for new quilters.

Beautiful. Where did you get the pattern? I would really like to make one. Please let me know.

Wow! I've crocheted a round baby afghan, but not a round quilt!

So, sorry I disappeared for a couple of days...so glad everyone likes it!!!

Here's the link to the pattern:
http://www.christaquilts.com/index.p...ducts_id=13672

And it's a free download. It's called Freebird and it was on the Moda website, but I found it on christaquilts site. Anyway, it was designed for a 9 degree wedge, but I just used my 10 degree, cutting 36 wedges, and it went together really easy. I only had to adjust 4 seams to get it to lay flat. The pattern calls for some appliqued silhouette birds, but this was so busy I decided not to put them on. You just cut strips of the different widths, then cut the wedges using the ruler. It's really not hard.

Have fun with it!! I have cut out the 2nd one, and we (me and DH) are working on cutting the strips for the flag one. It's easy to do. But you MUST have an accurate 1/4" seam. Otherwise it's gonna look like a mushroom cap!! ;) :D
