I would border with the dark blue and bind with the lt. blue. But that is me, it is your star, do it like you would like it.

I would put a small border of the cream or background color (about 4" or less) to give the star more area to stand out in. The I would do a darker border with the background corner stones. If you want to do a piano key border (2 x 6" strips) I would use the two star colors with a cream corner stone. I love your star.

Love your star, I am a huge star fan. As far as borders, I don't have any suggestions other than I would lay different fabrics along the side to see what calls to me. I would lean toward a blue floral, probably a darker blue.

I love the star, colors, etc. As for the border , if you have enough material, how about incorporating all 3 colors, perhaps, a 3"dark blue, ,2" white or ecru, and finish off with a 4 inch lighter blue .
