I just finished the binding this week. I even made matching pillow cases. I did not quilt this one, I had it professionally done. She did an awesome job keeping with the theme of the quilt "Sun-kissed Garden" is what I call it. I will quilt my next top which is almost ready to go.

Wowsers! This is your first completed quilt?!?! Holy cow you are a natural. I love your fabric choices and layout. And you found yourself one great longarmer because she (or he) did a wonderful job with the quilting in complimenting your peicing. This is just beautiful.

Your first quilt??? Are you serious??? You are a gifted quilter, beginner or not.
Your color blending, fabric choice, everything makes your quilt so pleasing to the eye! Even choosing to have this pretty quilt custom quilted was smart. It does look like it has been "kissed" by the Sun.
Can't wait to see the next one you come up with. Thank you for posting your lovely work!

Even if you had told us that you have been quilting for 20 years I would still say that this is an absolutely beautiful creation. As a first quilt...phenomenal!!!!!

Thanks for all you kind words and encouragement. I have two tops completed and ready to quilt (scary). I am working on one as we speak. I hesitated to share this with you all but I am so glad I did. I look forward to sharing my other projects, soon.
