I agree--am marking it as inspiration for the black and white fabrics I've collected!

That's great! Isn't it nice how well they stitch together? Really pretty top. At least you won't be intimidated by it to make another one. Looks fantastic.

Thank you for your compliment. I put the red in the middle and alternated the darks and lights like a tic-tac-toe pattern. I just love this pattern, it is so easy.

If you go to the home page and scroll down to tutorials you will find it in there. Or go to 'search ' and type in D9P tuts, it will come up there also. very good directions here. Thank you again to everyone who made and posted one before me.

D9P stands for disappearing 9 patch. This is the easiest quilt I have ever made and I am sure I will be making quite a few more. There are a few tutorials on this site showing how easy it is, the directions are well done and easy to follow. Thank you for your kind words. Carol

Love it. I just finished one made out of scraps and at first I didn't like it but now I do. It goes to project linus!

Very nice!! I am working on two quilts using this pattern. It goes together so well and so fast, and looks so different depending on the fabrics.

    Good work!!
