I have 3 machines just singers and brothers nothing fancy but if we get busy it may be worth investing in one of those nice machines (I always rub and pet them when I go to sewing shops. Would love to have one.)
It's sooooo easy to do! The pattern is Disappearing 9 Patch, if you have a look on here there are several links, that's where I got it from. If you have fabrics with a clearer contrast the pattern is more distinct. I wanted a "messy" random jumble of the colours, for a couch quilt. Really quick to put together (this took me only two evenings) and no difficult seams to join, it all sits nice and flat.
This will be backed with a baby blue faux fur, similar to my other couch quilt. :-)

    Thanks! :-)

It's the perfect pattern when you have some material you just want to throw together.

The kids think it looks like it got left out in the rain. A perfect description!

Nice job and your inspector looks like she scared the monsters too!

Aren't they so kind to put their stamp of approval on our quilts?
