My mom wanted a quilt so I decided to try this one. I think it turned out ok and she loved it. I had to get my hubby to feed it under the machine to quilt together so he learned something new too! LOL

BEAUTIFUL,I'm in the process of cutting the pieces for a Fancy Dresden , Since I'm not much on piece quilting this pattern has alway been one of the few that I Love. Now how can I train my hubby to do the quilting? He only enters my sewing rm, when he wants my company, I spend ALOT of my time in my sewing rm. I'm in another world when I'm in here. He'll pop in to see what I'm working on, and ask questions.

Very beautiful, nice to see other husbands interested in their wives hobby. Love the rich colors. Did you do satin stitches around your dresden or needle turn applique? Just lovely.

    Hi Denise,
I just satin stitched around all of the plates. Arthritis won't let me hand quilt at all. Thanks for the compliments. My moms bed is a double and I screwed up and made this quilt an oversize queen. I layed it out on top of my king size bed and said oops. LOL

I've yet to finish the heart quilt I started for my bed, but I today my sweet hubby bought me a new sewing machine, so I'm feeling inspired!
