    Your fabrics make that quilt look like it is right out of the 30's or 40'. Great fabric choices and you did a really good job on it

    I love your Dresden Plate quilt. You did a beautiful job on it. I have one that my mother started when she was carrying me (1934), and when she died in 1959 she gave the blocks to me (all but 3 were done). I was not into quilting them, but wish I had been. I had a friend finish the top and put it together, then tied it with yarn - so it left such large holes I couldn't take it out to quilt it. The background of the plates was 30's green, and she used 30's yellow for the sashing because the Plate centers were also yellow. Yours is much prettier, I must say.
