    Not a beginner project......It has lots of parts....just take your time and don't try to hurry through it. I sewed it in 2 hour increments. The pieces fit together nicely. The instructions were well written. Lots of techniques/design elements are incorporated into it. There is also a pattern for a smaller version tho I do not have that pattern to compare the two.
