Default My first feathered star!

I have always been intimidated by feathered stars....I found a free paper pieced feather star pattern on a blog named Threaded quilting studio. Printed off the 16” template pieces, and this was actually pretty easy once i got started. I will probably turn this into a pillow, but i am no longer afraid of these feathers, and I have plans for a larger project this winter. I have Marsha McCloskey’s book, Vintage Moments, and that is myultimate goal. Someday. Maybe!

Beautiful. I downloaded the same pattern in the 18 inch size but haven't attempted it yet.

Oh, that's beautiful! Love the colors you used. I so want to master paper piecing but every time I try I just give up. I think I don't have the patience for it. That will be such a pretty pillow.

Very pretty! We grow by trying new things. You did a beautiful job! I can't wait to see the Vintage Moments quilt you will make. I made 3 of them, one for each of my 3 daughters.
