Thread: my first finished quilt.

    I finally finished this charm pack quilt for my sisters bday. i messed up my boarders corners and machine embroidered butterflies on black charm blocks and sewed them into the corners. ( I forgot to miter the corners on the double boarder) this worked out great for an added touch as well. she was very happy with it. on to my next project. i wanna do stars!

    Beautiful quilt! I like just square quilts alot. They are the beginnings of most of the old country quilts from years back.

    Great first quilt! Congratulations! I really like the colored charms alternating with the black (right?). Looks great! Creative solution to your border issue.
