    When you have your quilt sandwich pinned together or tacked together every four inches, you can start anywhere you want. If there is excess in a block, you keep it in that block. I like to start on the sides to that I can then cut away excess batting and backing. I need it to hold on to while quilting the edges.

    I love free motion. You should be very proud of yours. It is definitely practice, practice, practice.

    You did great! You can already see improvement from the first section to the last. Just think how much you will improve when you're done with the other ones.
