It's so adorable, of course the little munchkin will LOVE it! By the time she's old enough to know what's going on, I'm sure she'll have quite the collection!

congratulations on the impending births of your grandbabies. What an exciting time for your family!

So cute! I'm going to be a great grandma next year, and I'm looking at all the baby quilts that has been posted on here.

Where did you get the fabric and the pattern?

beuatiful job! I am also working on a baby quilt for 2nd grandson. First grandson came on Oct. 5, 2008 and second is coming on Oct.9, 2009. (yes....same daughter). First ones room was in Disney's "CARS" and 2nd one is Disney's Toy Story. The first one was easier, found some material, second one, no material at all with Toy Story, so I am machine embroidering this one.

Precious quilt. We have 5 grandchildren and I am presently making "big" quilts for them. Two done, three to go. They were both "sports' quilts." Enjoy every minute you have with those grandchildren. They grow up so fast. Ours go from age 7 to 20.

Wonderful quilt! I'm hoping to try this pattern in the near future.

Congratulations on the grandbabies! My first completed quilt (my avatar) was for my first granddaughter, a scrappy Winnie the Pooh (not Disney). The other grandparents and a great-grandmother handquilted it and all our names are on the label. She's 3 next month and sleeps with it every night. You've got a lot of fun ahead of you! Enjoy the babies. You'll have a wonderful time.

What a cute quilt! After looking at it one can see what a simple quilt it is to put together. Sometimes simple is the best.

    Nice one dude! :-)

I love that pattern, it looks so awesome, and your fabric choices are excellent.

As much as it appeals to be making baby quilts, I'm hoping to not be a grandma for a LOOOOOOOONg time yet! LOL

The fabric came from Joanns and the pattern "Warm Wishes" came off the internet. :D

There are no words to describe the feeling of being a Grand Parent. It is so awesome. My grandsons are the focus of my life now. I spend every minute I can with them. Either at there house or at mine. I'm always looking for things for them when I am shopping. Clothes, toys, etc. I made Jayden and Tracen quilts before they were born and will make them quilts to fit their bigboy beds as soon as I gather all the fabrics. Congratulations! There really is nothing like the feeling of being a grammie. Beth

What a lovely quilt you've made there for your new 1st Grandaughter. I know just how excited you must be. I am in exactly the same position as you. Only we are waiting for a little baby boy to arrive - "Harry" named after my DH Grandfather. Wait for this too - our babies are due on the same date how bizzarre is that!!!!!

Suzic46. Again, that is a precious quilt. I, too, downloaded the pattern off the Internet and was wondering what size you used. I have several friends with expected grandchildren and would like to do a quilt but was unsure what size. Did you use the smaller version or cut down on that version? I am not good at "guessing" on fabric. Thanks in advance for the info.
