I love the green! It's so pretty. I love the Irish Chain pattern. I have 2 Irish Chains right now that need to be quilted...thanks for the inspiration!

:) Thanks everyone. There is a story behind this quilt. I used muslin actually that was given to me by a friend who was clearing her stash. It is quite old. The green in the blocks is new fabric from Blank Quilting that I bought at the closing of a local quilt shop. I learned about the closing from this board! The old green on the borders is from an EBay purchase as is the pinecone print on the backing. I learned about that sale on this board too!. I used the pinecone print because this quilt is going to my dear aunt in Maine and that is their state flower. She is also of Irish descent so,thus, the Irish chain. So my life is kinda wrapped up in this quilt. Thanks to all the board members for their knowledge and support.

Can't wait to hear what the aunt says! I hope I'm the kind of Aunt that when they grow up my nieces and nephews will think that lovingly of me!
