I would be interested to know how you came to select the combination of colors you used, they go so well together. Your quilt is beautiful and someone is going to be so happy to win it.

I didn't think it was going to turn out as nice as it did. I just picked out some fabrics that I liked and added a couple of light colors and stuck with colors that guys would like. Most of the fabric is from Connecting Threads. I did find three at JoAnn's. When I cut it, I cut all the fabric into 5" squares, then I cut them diagonally and matched them up with the other fabrics to put the HSTs together. When I sewed the HSTs blocks together, I put them together randomly, trying to keep for putting two of the same fabrics together. It was a fun project. I have enough squares to make a smaller quilt that will go to my DD.

Sorry to disappoint you Judith, but the polka dots are really stars. I love polka dots, too, but I thought the guys would like stars better. You know, Men! hehehehe

Very nice color combination and configuration. I haven't tried HSTs yet. You sure fit them together well. Very nice work.

I'm not going to add a border. I thought about it but I just don't want one. I'm going to use navy blue for the backing fabric and binding.
