Thread: My first OBW

    So I've been quilting for about five years now, and I've finally completed the blocks for my first OBW. What do you think? It's my first post here, so be kind!

    Do you have a picture of the original fabric?? I really want to try this but haven.t found a suitable base fabric.

    It never ceases to a amaze me how one piece of fabric is turned into such a spectacular quilt!!!!! Lovely job!! :thumbup:

    I've been wanting to make one but am too lazy to be constantly getting up to go to the design wall to pick the units and sew them together.

    You did a great job - it's beautiful and it does look like fireworks!

    Wow! I had some of that same bird fabric, but used it all in purses that I have made in the past. I'm going to have to try a OBW one of these days. your is very pretty. Huggies, Fay
