This is my first foundation paper piecing project. I got the pattern from quilterscache.com titled "notions". I enjoyed learning how to do this. it was tedious and took longer than I thought it would, but I'm very happy with the results.

That is really cute. It would go so well on my sewing room wall! Should I send you my address, or are you going to be selfish and keep it for yourself?
Seriously, I have done some paper piecing and it was fun, but I haven't done anything big yet.

Great job - I only paper pieced once, and in my innocence did a twin sized quilt! Needless to day I have not done it again yet, but if you are in the mood to make another, I would really like one of these!

It's cute. Good job with the pp.

PP is on my 'to-try' list. Just have one more top to quilt and then I'll be trying some new techniques.

I'm going to be making one of these this weekend. Bill started a thread for this: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-36659-1.htm

    Here's another one: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-36544-1.htm

Maybe you can both put your picture there also.

I recently did a small pp project (a hint for Sula!!), and learned that a light under a large clear tupperware flat bottomed container works wonders to get the fabric lined up on the pattern. Love the results, and LOVE you very cute wall hanging.

Your wall hanging is wonderful. I have seen that pattern and have thought about doing it but haven't! Think I will. Thanks you for sharing and inspiring me to give the pattern another look.
