Hopefully I did this right. If so, this picture is a baby quilt I made for a co-worker several years ago. The finished size was about 48" x 48". The pattern is called "Galloping Star" from the book "Classic Country Quilts".
It is machine pieced and machine quilted.
This is the only picture I currently have on my computer. As soon as I get some other pics taken of some of my others I will post them. My current WIPs include a tumbling blocks quilt which is almost complete and a Mariners Compass that I designed myself using block patterns from one of Judy Matheison's books.

I'm not quite sure what I am doing wrong. I am clicking the "attach files" button and getting the file attachment panel and browsing to my file but it doesn't appear in my message. Any advice??

    That is stunning. Great job.

As far as the pic, did you use preview? Apparently the preview kicks the pic out.

    Hi Darlene,

Yes the square on point was a very dark purple and black print. I too like black in a quilt it can really make the other colors pop.

I asked the then mother to be what colors she wanted and she said yellow and purple and I took it from there. I must admint I probably wouldn't have opted for that color scheme on my own but was pleased with how it came out. I am pretty sure yellow and purple are complimentary on the color wheel.

Really gorgeous. I can't tell from the picture -- are the fabrics batks or do they have a pattern?
