A wonderful quilt and beautiful baby, I doubt she'll notice your binding. I find it much easier to put binding on by hand. You just sew it on one side and wrap it around to the other and do tiny stitches. Your colors are great, I'd say you should be very proud of yourself, not only is the quilt pretty, you found the time to make it with a new baby.

Beautiful straight stitching, much better than I can do even after 20 years of doing it. You did a great job on color selection and even tho the pattern is "simple" for a first time, it turned out fabulous! And, I especially love the third picture...you did a really fabulous job there, too! Makes the gramma in me want to reach out and hug.

It's adorable and so is Lilly. Nice colors and the diagonal quilting is great for a first timer. Nicely done!
