I saw a few people posting pics of their first quilts so I thought I'd share mine with you guys - I made it about a year ago - yes, I am totally hooked now!

I made it for a friend of mine who was having a baby.

Very nice! I like the Warm Wishes pattern. Cute and good choice for a first quilt! Did you machine quilt it?

What timing! I was just looking at a pattern like that, it was called something else, last night.

You did a very nice job. The back is a quilt of it's own too!

I'm glad someone remembered the name of it! Yes, it is the warm wishes one... I did machine piece both the front and backs and then machine quilted it - I only stitched in the ditch on it. I do wish I had done more quilting on it.
The label I machine embroidered up. I used Embird's font engine for the lettering and added a few cute redwork designs.

It is the one that got me completely addicted to quilting. It just was a fun pattern to do.

Nice one! The back is great too....something restful, to counter the beautiful bright front.
