Love the bright colors! They match your socks :) :) ! I love the trip around the world design. I'm vascilating between that and a bargello for my next baby quilt. Don't need it until July, so have a little time to debate with myself. I'm leaning toward trip, though.

Four hours!?! I remember making one of these for my daughter when I first started to quilt. Back then rotary cutters were just coming out and I had never heard of them so I cut each square out with scissors, drawn with a cardboard template. It took me forever! Four hours!?! It's amazing how far we've come!

Your quilt looks beautiful and will definitely brighten up whatever wall or bed you put that on. Great job!

Beautiful colors! Are you going to quilt it or tie it?

Gonna try quilting it.

There's a really cool free hand pattern that I saw, it's with thread that changes colour throughout the spool... like green to red to blue to pink... you know what I mean. I want to put a pretty wide black border around it and sort of go off the little squares onto the border, the design and coloured thread should show up really well on the black border, if not so much on the rest.

Going to have to practice that first though, lol.
