I now have pieced a back (2nd picture) for my first quilt top. I thought I would just do the stitch in ditch for the quilting. With the big squares I am now unsure what to do and what color thread to use.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Wonderful work! I'm always impressed with folk's fancy backs. I'm too lazy to get fancy.

Applause, Applause, Applause....both sides are fabulous! Have some fun with thread color and use a color that you have never tried before. In my opinion, any color would add to this. Thank you for sharing.

If you are doing SID, then the thread will not really show much at all, so a neutral or a grey would work fine.

    Nice quilt...front and back.
